_circleColor = circleColor;

#1
  • (void)setCircleColor:(UIColor *)circleColor
    {
    _circleColor = circleColor;
    [self setNeedsDisplay];
    }

if I remove the _circleColor = circleColor, the circles will become black&white, why it’s hapennig so?

#2

Because _circleColor stores the color of the circle. If you don’t set it, the default colour (black) is used instead.
