I have been using the 3rd Edition of the iOS programming book. Lately I found that the 4th edition was out as well. Looking into the contents of 4th edition, it seems a lot has been updated. For example, there is no longer a chapter on Advanced MVCS and no Advanced Caching description. Any reason why this is so? Is it no longer needed because Xcode 5/iOS 7 provide built-in facilities to accomplish that.
(PS: I am still going through the 4th edition and it is possible that Advanced MVCS and Caching are described elsewhere)
