public void bindCrime(Crime crime)
mCrime = crime;
I am having trouble figuring out why instead of just calling crime.getTitle()/getDate()/isSolved, we have to set mCrime = crime first and THEN call mCrime.method…().
I tried it without mCrime, that is, I directly passed in “crime” instead of setting mCrime to crime first and then passing it in. It compiled and ran fine, but I was just wondering if it is bad practice to do what I did.
Thank you for answering my possibly obvious question?
