My drawing testing on the simulator does not work

My drawing testing on the simulator does not work.
I tried with cursor, but it did not work.

I use Xcode 4.2.1 on Mac OSX 10.7.
When I created the project, there is no MainWindow.xib. So, I created using empty interface and connected all the delegates and outlets according to the UTube tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sROdA4w4x9Y.

There is no error in compile and and shows blank screen, but I can not seem to draw anything. Maybe I made a mistake in adding the MainWindow.xib file.

If someone can help, I would appreciate it very much.

I found out why. It is in the Appdelegate.m file. After I commented out the 2 bolded lines, it works fine. I hope this helps someone.
