Nibname problems again

#1

hi similar problems to the quiz exercise

this is what i typed out

#import “WhereamiViewController.h”

@implementation WhereamiViewController

-(id)initWithNibName:(NSString *)nibNameOrNil bundle:(NSBundle *)nibBundleOrNil
{
self = [super initWithNibName:<#nibNameOrNil#> bundle:nibBundleOrNil];
if (self) {
// Create location manageer object
locationManager = [[CLLocationManager alloc]init];

	//And we want it to be as acurate as possible
	//regardless of how much power and time it takes

	[locationManager setDelegate:self];
	[locationManager setDesiredAccuracy:kCLLocationAccuracyBest];

	// tell our manager to start looking for its location imediately

	[locationManager stopUpdatingLocation];
}
return self;

}

@end

however at this line

self = [super initWithNibName:<#nibNameOrNil#> bundle:nibBundleOrNil];

i get this an expected expression warning, nibNameOrNil and nibBundleOrNil seem to be highlighted blue as though i should type something in there,

this isnt the first time ive had this problem, may be its a setting?

#2

this problem is fixed hehe with out changes to the code

#3

I seem to be having this problem.

 self = [super initWithNibName:nibNameOrNil bundle:<#nibBundleOrNil#>];

It tells me, “Expected expression.”

I have simply worked up to page 84.

Stumped as to what could be causing the problem.

#4

Because [color=#FF0000]<#nibBundleOrNil#>[/color] is not a syntactically valid expression.

change:

self = [super initWithNibName:nibNameOrNil bundle:<#nibBundleOrNil#>];

to:

self = [super initWithNibName:nibNameOrNil bundle:nibBundleOrNil];

#5

sorry there are actually no # (pounds) in my code.
Those got there via copy paste for some reason.
My actual code…

So I went in, deleted the nibBundleOrNil, typed it in again, the highlighted nature of it went away, and now I’m error free.

What was that??

When I was looking at the code I could not see the pound signs. Instead the phrase nibBundleOrNil seemed to be highlighted in grey.
