I am nearing the end of Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X and plan to go onto the BNR iPhone book next. My goal is to learn graphics programming for iPhone and eventually OS X. Any advice on how one would even begin to learn this? Should I start with OpenGL or GL ES? Or even Quartz or Cocos2D? I’ve found a couple of online blogs/how-to’s that I will read, and there are a handful of lectures on iTunes U focusing on OpenGL, but I haven’t found any full classes on the subject (on iTunes U, that is).
