While going through Chapters 25 and 26, I noticed that the order of the RSSItems returned by the smart feed service differed between Safari and the iPad application. When I accessed the smart feed service through Firefox, the order of the RSSItems matched. From the looks of it, Safari is doing some kind of reordering that Firefox and the iPad application are not. Is that just an “extra feature” of Safari?
Alternatively, is there a way to control the order of the items through parameters to the smart feed service? Or are you better off reading in the items and sorting them based on your own criteria? Going through the chapter I just kind of assumed Safari and the iPad application would agree and was puzzled when they did not. I also assumed the order would be based on time/date or something recognizable, but that does not appear to be the case.
