Problem with Style (Page 151)

#1

On the statements style = “?android:listSeperatorTextViewStyle” />, I get an error of “error: Error: No resource found that matches the given name (at ‘style’ with value ‘?
android:listSeperatorTextViewStyle’).”

If I comment out the statements, the app seems to function ok, just no styling.

Here is the entire definition for the TextView

<TextView
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"
    android:text="@string/crime_title_label"
style = "?android:listSeperatorTextViewStyle" />

Any help would be appreciated!

Bill

What was the solution? I am having the same problem??

#4

I solved the problem by removing the “?” it appears to be a type

My Code:

<TextView android:layout_width = "match_parent" android:layout_height = "wrap_content" android:text="@string/crime_title_label" style="android:listSeperatorTextViewStyle" />

It’s a typo! Should be: style="?android:listSeparatorTextViewStyle"
not: style="?android:listSeperatorTextViewStyle:

Check your spelling people!!!
