Silver challenge & the guide document

#1

Tried to do it only with UIScrollView class reference and UIscrollViewDelegate protocol reference, but those references were alien language for me.

So I did more searching for guide, and found the following link and solve the problem.

developer.apple.com/library/ios … mZoom.html

What I did:

  1. property declaration of image view in the AppDelegate.m, and make it point to the image view created.
  2. setting some zooming properties of scrollView, which is a instance of UIScrollView(including scrollView’s delegate property)
  3. add viewForZoomingInScrollView method in AppDelegate.m

My codes for BNRAppDelegate.m:

//
//  AppDelegate.m
//  Hypnosister
//
//  Created by yoonsuk on 2015. 4. 25..

//

#import "AppDelegate.h"
#import "BNRHypnosisView.h"

@interface AppDelegate () <UIScrollViewDelegate>

// setting property for the image view...
@property (nonatomic) BNRHypnosisView *scrollHypnosisView;

@end

@implementation AppDelegate

- (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions {
    self.window = [[UIWindow alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] bounds]];

    // Override point for customization after application launch.

    CGRect screenRect = self.window.bounds;
    CGRect bigRect = screenRect;
    bigRect.size.width *= 2.0;
    bigRect.size.height *= 2.0;

    UIScrollView *scrollView = [[UIScrollView alloc] initWithFrame:screenRect];

    // setting some zooming properties
    scrollView.pagingEnabled = NO;
    scrollView.minimumZoomScale = 0.5;
    scrollView.maximumZoomScale = 6.0;
    scrollView.contentSize = CGSizeMake(1280, 960);
    scrollView.delegate = self;

    [self.window addSubview:scrollView];

    self.scrollHypnosisView = [[BNRHypnosisView alloc] initWithFrame:bigRect];

    [scrollView addSubview:self.scrollHypnosisView];

    scrollView.contentSize = bigRect.size;

    self.window.backgroundColor = [UIColor whiteColor];
    [self.window makeKeyAndVisible];

    return YES;
}

// zooming method definition
-(UIView *) viewForZoomingInScrollView:(UIScrollView *)scrollView
{
    return self.scrollHypnosisView;
}

- (void)applicationWillResignActive:(UIApplication *)application {
    // Sent when the application is about to move from active to inactive state. This can occur for certain types of temporary interruptions (such as an incoming phone call or SMS message) or when the user quits the application and it begins the transition to the background state.
    // Use this method to pause ongoing tasks, disable timers, and throttle down OpenGL ES frame rates. Games should use this method to pause the game.
}

- (void)applicationDidEnterBackground:(UIApplication *)application {
    // Use this method to release shared resources, save user data, invalidate timers, and store enough application state information to restore your application to its current state in case it is terminated later.
    // If your application supports background execution, this method is called instead of applicationWillTerminate: when the user quits.
}

- (void)applicationWillEnterForeground:(UIApplication *)application {
    // Called as part of the transition from the background to the inactive state; here you can undo many of the changes made on entering the background.
}

- (void)applicationDidBecomeActive:(UIApplication *)application {
    // Restart any tasks that were paused (or not yet started) while the application was inactive. If the application was previously in the background, optionally refresh the user interface.
}

- (void)applicationWillTerminate:(UIApplication *)application {
    // Called when the application is about to terminate. Save data if appropriate. See also applicationDidEnterBackground:.
}

@end

the guid is really very useful.
and I have been look up in the library, too .
Yet i didn’t notice that guide.
That’s because I was searching “scrollView”, rather than “scroll view”.
Maybe apple just wants the title no to be that professional.
Now I get the skill.
Thx
