Silver Challenge- using UIModalTransition with Pushview

#1

Hello, I must be missing something. I have tried to set the modaltransitionstyle to my pushview of detail view controller (please see code below). This does not seem to affect the transition animation for the pushview at all. Is there something I am doing wrong in my code? My thoughts are that you cant use modaltransition styles with a pushview. If this is the case, am I supposed to abandon pushview and create another modal view?

[detailViewController setModalTransitionStyle:UIModalTransitionStyleFlipHorizontal];

[[self navigationController]pushViewController:detailViewController animated:YES];
