Solution - build fails

#1

I had no trouble putting in the code from the book but when I downloaded and attempted to build the solution from the web site I got…

error: There is no SDK with the name or path ‘iphoneos4.0’

I’m totally new at this. I know what SDK stands for and I know how to code but I have no idea what this message means.

Apple dropped the ball on this one in earlier versions of Xcode, but since then they have fixed it by allowing you to set the base SDK of a project to the “latest OS”.

Go to Project->Edit Project Settings. Select Build from the tabs up top. Find Base SDK, change this to the most recent OS.

That got it built. Thanks, Joe!

Now it’s saying “No provisioned iOS device is connected.” when I execute it but I’ll figure that out.
