Whereami notes

#1

I bought book from amazon for my Ipad.

I am running 4.2 on the simulator.

My first problem was I could not get the app to zoom. I found you hit in the forum and added didUpdateUserLocation and got it to zoom.

Next I could not get annotations to work. I tried your hint selectAnnotation and got the annotation to work.

It now works as follows.

  1. zooms into Apple location.
  2. After entering test the simulator asks me if I want to use my current location. saying yes it adds the annotation and displays a location in FL near me.
  3. If I say no it Aborts. I have not figured out why.
  4. I have spent a lot of time to get this to work.

Here is my console output

#2

My method didAddAnnotationViews is not called even when I add the annotation.

#3

The other interesting thing is when it moves to FL after entering the text the annotation is displayed but the blue dot indicating current location is not displayed.
