I do not find the class in the book

Toast is a class from the Android SDK, much like TextView and Button. It is located in the package android.widget.

I am newbie on mobile. I think it is a class we are creating. The method name is unusual, not like other programming language"s method.

You’re right that the name is silly, but Nitrodon is correct that it is a class from the Android SDK and not one that we create ourselves.
