Page 256 Saving tasks data to file. I can’t get this to work. I logged the file path and when I navigate there there is no “data.td” file.
Logging the path and file within the helper function I get: “/Users/myname/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/7.1/Applications/BC8D1FA2-B2F4-4234-A222-FD63C39CDD80/Documents/data.td”. However, when attempting to log from within the method “applicationDidEnterBackground” I get no log message, which naturally made me suspect that “applicationDidEnterBackground” was never called. I added a simple “I’m here message” in “applicationDidEnterBackground” and got no log message, which seems to confirm that this method is never called. I then tried placing an “I’m here message” in - (void)applicationWillTerminate:(UIApplication *)application. The same result, no message logged. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thank. I’m a rookie.

Hit Command + Shift + H to go to the home menu and put the app in the background.
