Wonder if Apple throw out google maps, will it be very drastic to the developer community. All old apps that use google map services and api, geocoding, reverse geocoding… do they need to phase out?
According to this the change to developers is minimal. http://gigaom.com/apple/ditching-google-maps-not-a-problem-for-ios-developers/ I would imagine the API calls will stay the same and apple will make the changes under the hood. 
So far I agree, it looks like the mapping API changes will be minimal. We’ll have to save any discussion on specifics, however, until after iOS 6’s APIs come out of non-disclosure.
