Adding a Favicon image

I’m trying to do the Silver challenge in Chapter 1: Adding a Favicon to ottergram.

I grabbed a photo, put it through a favicon generator and got a tiny 12KB JPEG that I then saved into the same folder as index.html after it was turned into a .ico. I then reloaded the browser, and even redid the brower-sync command that opened the page originally. That was the only instructions, but I still don’t have a favicon in the browser tab.

Any advice would be appreciated.

It’s Chrome’s issue apparently, icon renders fine in Firefox.
