Hi everyone,
I’m new to iOS development and wondering how to structure my learning from scratch. I’ve been reading through some resources, but I’m unsure about the best approach. I’m considering Big Nerd Ranch’s iOS books and courses, but I’d love to hear your experiences before diving in.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Watched beginner Swift tutorials
Worked through basic exercises on Codecademy
Played around with Xcode but haven’t built anything major yet
My aim is to become skilled in developing iOS apps, but I am also interested in learning about how to become a DevOps engineer. I’d like to learn about DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes in addition to iOS development.
Can anyone provide advice on:
How to juggle learning both iOS development and DevOps tools?
How to divide up the learning process for iOS (should I tackle Swift first or jump into UI design as well)?
How to ensure I’m putting what I learn into practice by creating practical projects?
Any advice on handling both tracks would be welcome
thanks in advance!
