In the project tool window, although I can follow the path app/build/generated/source/r/debug I cannot access the debug folder. It has a folder sign and a little fan symbol infront but I don’t know what it is supposed to mean.
Any ideas?

Problem solved thanks to Stackoverflow 
Project needs to be built before you want to access the folder.
