Xcode sans Saving

Many times when I edit code for Windows using Builder 2010, I decide not to save the modified code so I just exit without saving so I can recover my original code. Xcode apparently saves whatever I type because I have never explicitly saved anything. Is it possible to exit Xcode without saving the files?

In System Preferences, have you tried turning on the setting Ask to keep changes when closing documents?
