Figure 1.20 and 4.3 - NoUpdate Frames option Xcode 9.4.1

I’m a newbie, so excuse what is perhaps an obvious question . .

Working from IOS Programming book, Edition 6, I notice that the Update Frames option is missing when adding new constraints. Is there a separate way to select this option?
