This took me a while to figure out that you can’t open multiple instances on an iPhone simulator. You’ll need to use an iPad – or at least as far as I can tell.
Here are instructions to open multiple instances on ipad:
1.open instance of app
2.slide up from bottom of screen just enough to see dock
3.click application
4.select the plus sign
-edit update-
I am really struggling on this chapter.
I found implementing person’s simple solution helped illustrate the differences of how the instances handle the data.
