Android Programming , without java?

Hello guys , how are you doing on this fine day ^^

First I want to say that i’m sorry if this is the wrong section to ask this question , hopefully it isn’t.

Second , I just wanted to take your opinion on this:

Everybody says it’s a good book and all to learn android programming , I was going to buy it but I saw this review:

And I really felt sad :frowning:

I’ve been only programming in c++,Qt. So I don’t know if I should buy this book or not ? because I haven’t learnt java yet.

What do you guys think ?

You can safely ignore that review unless you wish to be spoon fed.

It should be a piece of cake for you. It is much easier for C++ programmers to transition to Java, but not vice versa.

anyways thanks for your feedback you helped a lot , to be honest when I saw this I thought I’d need to pick a book on java and learn it like I learnt c++ which took a while.
