I’m using XCode 11 (Yep, I’m late to the game and XCode is on a newer version. 7th Edition is not available from Amazon yet). I can’t find the “embed in stack view” button described on page 228 as “second icon from left”. Instead, the embed button is the rightmost button. After pressing that, I was able to choose “Stack View” from the pop up menu, and continue working.
